amazing service especially dealing with our picky eater 6 year old. The ribs, burnt ends & brisket were amazing! the sides stole the show: chili, gumbo pickle & potato egg salad and the ChEESY potatoes. my daughters white fish tacos were so great as well. so many choices!

We were starving when we arrived at MCI. And of course we had to have KC BBQ! Much to our surprise this highly rated place was only a short drive from the airport. Let me tell you... this place was a wonderful surprise! Not only was the food amazing, but it was clean, and the staff! SOOO nice! They even played Tic Tac Toe on the glass with our daughter. I mean what an amazing place. There are some places that you go to just to eat, some that you go to for the ambiance, and others because you like the people. This place had it all and we would highly recommend it!

I really can't say enough positive things about this establishment. The staff are very welcoming and seam to be truly happy in what they are producing. And the product they produce is very good. Great atmosphere with cool aero inspired pictures. I've been there for dinner and was pleasantly surprised to see they're open for breakfast as well. The breakfast is very good and reasonably priced. The breakfast bowls are hearty! The lunch/dinner fare is all delicious. I would strongly suggest the ghost sausage and the jalapeño/apple slaw. But no matter what you order, you will be satisfied. All of their fare is home/hand made. A small business that is most assuredly worthy of praise and patronage. To the owners and employees, please continue to KA-Every day! Be proud of what you are producing and thank you.

As dedicated fans of Scott's, we have thoroughly enjoyed both lunch and dinner at this establishment on numerous occasions. This has instilled in us a sense of excitement as we looked forward to exploring their breakfast menu. Over our previous visits, we have consistently appreciated the diverse range of options and the delightful flavors that Scott's has to offer. With this in mind, we were genuinely curious whether their breakfast offerings would live up to the high standards we had come to expect. With great anticipation, we made the decision to try breakfast at Scott's, eager to uncover the delicious dishes they had crafted for the morning meal. Upon arrival, we decided to sample the biscuits and gravy as well as the burnt ends breakfast burrito, both of which were simply delicious! The biscuits were warm, fluffy, and perfectly paired with a rich, savory gravy that had just the right amount of seasoning. Meanwhile, the burnt ends breakfast burrito was a flavor-packed delight, featuring tender pieces of smoked meat wrapped with eggs and fresh ingredients, all enveloped in a warm tortilla. Additionally, we were fortunate to have Trisha as our server. Her kindness and genuine enthusiasm added to our experience, making the morning even more enjoyable. She was incredibly attentive and engaging, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Thank you, Trisha, for the excellent service! We left feeling satisfied and excited to return for another meal at Scott's.

Our favorite stop before the airport. Food is consistent and staff are friendly. Love their burnt ends burrito. I get this every time we're in town.

We stopped here after leaving the airport and shared a really good meal. We had Jalapeño apple slaw, Beans, Brisket and Burnt ends. Everything was as good as we expected and service was fantastic! Had the weather been just a little nicer, we could have enjoyed their outdoor patio area.

So, what do you think of when someone says let's go for barbecue? Is it ribs so tender that the meat falls off the bone? Is it the tips of the brisket that have gotten all charred up and then cut into burnt end pieces, and served either in a sandwich or on a meat plate? Is it sliced brisket on a huge bread roll with a little bit of slaw and some barbecue sauce on it? Or maybe pulled pork on a bun smothered with barbecue sauce and topped with string onions? All sound good but it's not usually what I think about when I think about barbecue. I think the best meat out there for barbecue is sausage! Now I'm kind of a nut for sausage, but I don't really care for beef, chicken, or turkey sausage it has to be pork sausage! I have had kielbasa, Polish sausage, and ghost pepper sausage. And one of my favorite places to get sausage at is at a kitchen they call Scott's up by Mid Continent Airport! And as I was sitting around the house today thinking about what I would cook for my evening meal, coming across my screen was this beautiful link of sausage and a nice bread roll smothered with slaw and a good drizzle of spicy salsa! It was a Halloween special they were serving up a Scott's Kitchen. Needless to say, I knew right away where I was going to be eating dinner tonight. So around 4:30 I drove up there and look at what I snagged! Just look at that beautiful piece of sausage nice and red from all the smoke, plenty of bun overhang a good smother layer of slaw and then that spicy salsa to boot. You can't pick it up! Believe me I tried because I'm not afraid of getting messy, but this thing is so big I could not get my mouth around it, and I have a very big mouth! I don't know who Scott has make his sausage or if it's made in house but whoever is doing it is getting the right content of fat to meat to cheese and to the spices and seasoning. While ghost pepper does indicate that it is hot, it isn't so spicy that you'll have to have your tongue recovered tomorrow. If anything, the heat in this sausage does nothing but enhance the flavor! And then there are the beans, sweet with lots of meat chunks in there and just as good as you can ever imagine. Nice and saucy they're not baked, and it's not dry like some baked beans get. Scott, if you're reading this post, I would love to see this as part of your regular menu! Well done Scott's kitchen! Well done indeed! On a rainy afternoon I am stuffing my face with one of the best sausage sandwiches that you can find in this town at Scott's Kitchen!

Nice little spot I'd heard about and been wanting to try for a while. I liked being able to sit outdoors even though it was pretty busy on a weekend. Great burnt ends. Brisket was fine, if a little dry. The gumbo had a flavor neither my friends nor I could place and we all found overwhelmingly weird (banana???). Cheesy potatoes were good.

Can I give 6 stars? Once again, this place hits a home run! I love the consistency for really exceptional food. My hubby had the two meat/two sides combo. He had excellent burnt ends and tasty brisket. The beans were great too!!! My tacos were just to die for. Did you know, you can order any "spicy" taco as mild instead? That makes me so happy! My two favorites are the Buffalo chicken taco, and the Pulled Pork (mild) taco. They are like the gold and silver medalists in the bbq-taco-Olympics of life.
